Game Notes:
  • Lamigo cleanup hitter DH Lin Hung-Yu put the home team on the board, hitting a sac fly and batting in the first run for the home team. He went 2-for-4 with a RBI. 
  • Fubon slugger OF Kao Kuo-Hui went 2-for-5 with a two-run shot to left field in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game at two runs apiece. 
  • Fubon first baseman Lin Yi-Chun belted a solo homerun into left field in the top of the eighth inning to tie the game once again at 3-3. 
  • In the bottom of the tenth with one out and men on first and third base, Fubon reliever Ni Fu-Te threw a wild pitch to allow the third-base runner, Wang Po-Jung, to score the game-winning run. 
  • Lamigo has won six straight games since May 11th and the Fubon Guardians have not yet won in Taoyuan Baseball Stadium this season. 
  • Guardians SP Scott Richmond went five-plus innings, giving up eight hits, three runs, two walks, and he struck out four. 
  • Despite the no-decision, Monkeys SP Darin Downs recorded another quality start by going six innings to go along with seven hits, two earned runs, three walks, and eight strikeouts.
